Introducing a new e-commerce experience for our Michigan stores beginning June 10, 2025.
At Ascend, we’re always looking for new ways to level up your experience. We’re excited to introduce our new-and-improved website, menu, and in-store kiosks—rolling out across all our Michigan stores in the coming days!
We’ve designed these updates to be seamless, intuitive, and built to make your shopping journey even better. That said, we know change can bring questions, so we’ve put together this FAQ to help explain what’s new and answer anything you might be wondering about the updated Ascend menus and e-commerce system.

What is changing?
a. Our website will be smoother to navigate, provide more recommendations, and provide a more seamless and secure checkout for online orders. The URL is staying the same!
b. Our in-store kiosks will be updated to match the website’s new look
Why is the website changing so much?
These changes mean that we can use exciting new features, like paying online with Pay by Bank (powered by Plaid). You’ll also see product recommendations on the menu and faster, easier ways to find products.
When is this happening?
You’ll notice these changes in our Michigan stores starting on June 10th.
Will I have to create a new account?
Yes, you’ll have to create a new Ascend shopping account by using your email address or by connecting to your Google or Apple account. This account will be your new go-to, for all your purchase history, profile data, and more.
Will my order history be transferred
Unfortunately, no, your order history will not be transferred to the new account. However, your order history will be saved in our in-store system and our Budtenders can help look up previous orders.
How can I find the new menu?
You’ll find the new menu on our website like usual, but you can bookmark it here if you’d like. Shop Now
How do I use Pay by Bank?
You can connect your Ascend account to Pay by Bank and link your bank account to pay for your order at checkout online and save time in the store.
